Hey guys, I'm really interested in formulating an oil-based Bouquet of Leather (with Essential Oils), but...I haven't a clue about where to begin. (Having a number of formulas to examine would sure be a good place to start!) What I'm personally looking for, however, is that it *must* be "macho". ;o) Anyone got any ideas, perhaps?

Re: Formulating a Leather Bouquet (ie. Fragrance)?
Sun, June 17, 2007 - 5:04 AMIf you play around with the combination of the following oils, i guarantee you will acheive a 'leather' type scent... sorry i don't know the exact ratio of the oils for this.
Amyris,
Oakmoss,
Sandalwood,
Patchouli.
I hope this helps! Let me know how you go with this :) -

Sat, August 18, 2007 - 6:48 PMBirch tar is part of the basis for most leather type fragrances. It's pretty darned macho, believe me!
